Our Mini Market will be closing the doors on Friday 15th November until next spring. We say a big thank you to all those who have baked and manned the various stalls; they all deserve a well earned rest. Thank you to all who have supported us by coming to buy & we look forward to seeing you all next year.
Friday 22 November at 10am - coffee morning & Christmas raffle draw.
Sunday 1 December at 2.30pm - a service for the 1st Sunday in Advent.
Sunday 24 November - Rev. Steve will be christening his own grandson, Elias, in Mount Zion at 2.30. He will be joined by his father-in-law, a retired minister, making it a truly family affair.
The Craft Group continue to meet on Tuesdays in November 2 - 4pm. Anyone who would like to come and see what's going on (and have a cup of tea!) would be most welcome.
We remember in our prayers Babs King, Margery Picton, Roy John and Ann James & the family of Jonathan who passed away recently.

“Growing Disciples” is next due to meet on Monday 4 November at 2pm in the Ellis Hughes Room, and led by Rev Steve Woods. Enjoy Bible study, discussion and refreshments.
Ladies’ Guild meet on Thursday 14 November at 2pm in the Coffee
Room when there will be a cookery demonstration by Tydfil Morgan.

Short Mat Bowls Club Mary Ferguson writes: We are coming to the end of the first part of the season, with both our teams in the middle of the league tables. Our Christmas dinner has been booked for Wednesday 27th November 7pm for 7.30pm. Practice times are still the same: Wednesday 7pm. Thank you for supporting the Bowls Club.
Tabernacle Choir Rehearsals for Christmas music will be held each Monday 1 -2pm in the schoolroom from 18th November onwards. Anyone who enjoys singing is welcome to come along.
Afternoon Teas this month will be held on Monday 25 November at 2.30pm. These afternoons are particularly for those who live on their own, or who may feel lonely. If you would like a cuppa, a cake and a chat, you will be most welcome to come to Tabernacle Community Centre. And bring a friend too!
